EpochFall
Claim one of thirty-two nations on a living world. Forge an empire from a single capital, move armies by the thousand, and outlast every rival — human or AI — until one epoch remains.
The map is never half‑alive. Thirty‑two nations, every match, contesting one shared world in real time.
Four things, done without compromise
A world that's always full
Thirty-two nations enter every match. Any seat a player doesn't take is held by an AI nation — so the map is never empty and there's a rival on every border from the first second.
Armies at scale
Built on Unreal Engine 5's Mass framework. Thousands of units march, fight, and fall in real time without the simulation buckling under the weight.
One source of truth
Fully server-authoritative on dedicated servers. The world's state is decided server-side, so the match you see is the match everyone sees — no desyncs, no rollbacks, no cheating the clock.
Command the whole map
Real-time, not turn-based. Pan, zoom, and orbit one shared world and give orders while it keeps moving — with or without you.
From one capital to the last nation standing
Take a nation
Join a match and you're handed the next open nation — capital, borders, and all.
Build from your capital
Everything you own begins at one marked point on the map. Expand outward from there.
Contest the world
Borders are shared. Every nation you don't hold is a nation that wants yours.
Outlast the fall
Hold out as rivals collapse around you. The last nation standing ends the epoch.
What it looks like in your hands
Pre-alpha interface mockups — the UI language we’re building toward, not final art.
Built in the open, foundation first
Epochfall is in active development. Here's what's running, and what comes next.
Networked foundation
32-nation server architecture and shared world state, running today.
