Privacy

This policy covers the epochfall.io website and the Epochfall: Dynasties app for iPhone, iPad and Mac, both made by Iron Buffalo Studios (“we”). The short version: the app collects nothing, and the website keeps only the email address you give us for playtest invitations.

Epochfall: Dynasties (the app)

• No data leaves your device. Your campaigns, settings and account are stored by the app on your device. The app does not send them to us or to anyone else.
• Sign in with Apple is optional. If you use it, Apple gives the app an anonymous account identifier and, the first time, the name and email you choose to share (Apple lets you hide your email). The app keeps these on your device only. You can remove them in Settings with Delete account.
• No ads, no analytics, no tracking. The app contains no advertising, analytics or tracking code, and does not track you across other apps or websites.
• Beta testers. If you test the app through Apple's TestFlight, Apple shares with us the email you were invited with, the feedback and screenshots you choose to send, and crash reports. We use these only to fix the app. Apple's handling of TestFlight data is covered by Apple's privacy policy.

If we add cloud saves or online features later, we will update this policy and the app's App Store privacy details before they ship.

epochfall.io (the website)

• Playtest list. When you join the list we store your email address, the date, and the IP address and browser type your request came from (to stop abuse). We use your email only to tell you about Epochfall playtests and launches.
• Server logs. Like most websites, our web server keeps logs for a limited time of requests (IP address, page, browser type, time) to keep the site running and secure.
• No cookies for tracking, no analytics, no ads. The site doesn't use advertising or third-party analytics.

Who we share with

Nobody, for money or otherwise. We don't sell or rent personal information. Your data is stored on servers we operate. We would disclose information only if the law requires it.

Your choices

Email privacy@epochfall.io to see, correct or delete what we hold about you, or to leave the playtest list. We'll reply within 30 days. Every playtest email will include a way to unsubscribe.

Children

Our games and website are not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has given us their email, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page, and tell playtest-list members about any material change by email.
